Black Eyed Susan Designs originated in Canada in 1998 with the Quilter's Sewing Kit and Heavenly Angel I patterns. Susan Loland, the designer, has been teaching for 11 years in Canada and the U.S.

Meet Susan

Susan Loland has been sewing most of her life but didn't get into designing until she began quilting. When her local church asked her to teach a class on quilting, it meant learning to write directions for other people to follow.
